    Take more than just a 'colour' or 'number' with you when heading off-piste or into the backcountry. Find out what the specific dangers are for that day and the area you plan to ski. Where and what are the hazards and are they specific to certain terrain features, elevation, aspect or slope angle?

    TOP SKIING TIPS - CARVING

    1 - Balance over the centre of the ski to make them work properly
    2 - Flex joints, check hand position and use a wide stance for great posture
    3 - Develop lateral movements and balance to edge your skis
    4 - Rotation is for skidding, use your skis to turn
    5 - Look at your tracks and check if they're carved
